Delta Phi Epsilon was founded on March 17, 1917 at New York University School of Law as the first non-sectarian social sorority. We are an international sorority focused on empowering women to be their best selves. We do so by providing opportunities in the areas of service, social, scholarship, sisterhood and self. Our motto, “to be rather than to seem to be,” has built a foundation for the dynasty that DPhiE has become.
